Since Lost aired its finale earlier this year, there hasn't been a television program that has interested me in the slightest.  Sure, there have been nights of having trashy reality tv on in the background while Jess and I chat, but nothing I had to set time aside for.  In many ways that's a good thing.  The more time I spend in the dungeon hammering out stories, the better for me.

But that's all changed now.

That's right, folks, AMC has turned one of the best horror comic series of all time, The Walking Dead, into a weekly series!

I watched the pilot episode last night, and let me tell you, it was fan-freaking-tastic!  Gory and emotionally charged, it followed the storyline of the comic almost to a T.  I found it truly amazing that a basic cable channel could show as many disturbing images as they did or is allowed to use the type of strong language, but color me ecstatic that they are.  The first episode was great, and hopefully, it'll have an audience for a long time to come.

Looks like my Sunday nights at 10 are now writing-free.  And I'm not sad about this.

This past week, I was interviewed by author (and all-around interesting guy) Noah Mullett-Gillman.  It was the most entertaining interview to date, and the most informative, as well.  It appears today in the second issue of the Noahen Author series.  I'm the third interview, so scroll down to see it.
