It turns out there's something called the Zombie Research Society, and they give out annual awards to their different chapters. What is zombie research? Honestly, I couldn't tell you. But it's pretty interesting that the city of Omaha, Nebraska won this year. Interesting because if a zombie apocalypse ever happened, I can't think of a safer state than Nebraska - open plains relatively small population, and plenty of guns.
Let's hear it for the Omahanians! They're my kind of peeps, I tells you. And hey, good people of Omaha, check out our books! If you like zombies, and doing something original with them, I think The Rift leave you impressed.
